Christa Rowland graduated cum laude from Boise State in May of 2008 with a B.M. in Music Performance, and a B.M. in Music Education. During her time at Boise State, Christa served as the president of the American String Teacher’s Association chapter and Secretary for the Music Educator’s National Conference chapter. Christa was a scholarship student and violinist in the Boise State University Orchestra. She also served as Orchestral Librarian for several years. In 2004 she won the Idaho Federation of Music Clubs Collegiate Competition in the category of violin and in the fall of 2005 Christa performed as a soloist with the Boise State University Orchestra as a winner of their "Concerto-Aria Competition".. She has been a string teacher for the Boise State University Summer Chamber Music Camp as well as the Boise Schools Summer Music Program. |

Brooke Adams is a California native who has called Boise her home since she moved here with her family for her senior year in high school, graduating from Centennial High School in 1992. She received her degree in music education from Boise State University in December 1996 with the help of the Britt Bowden Memorial for the Performing Arts Scholarship, the Melvin Shelton & Cindy Steward Honorary Music Scholarship, and the Boise State Marching Band Plus Scholarship. In May 2002 Brooke earned her degree of Master of Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA maintaining a 4.0 throughout her studies there. |

Dan Howard was born in Boise in 1976 and went to high school at Sunset High in Beaverton, OR, after which he joined the U.S. Marines. Dan Served with the Parris Island Marine Band for 4 years (1994-1998) and upon the completion of his contract moved back to Boise to attend Boise State University. Dan graduated in 2003 from BSU with a Bachelor of Music in Performance and then attended Rutgers University in New Jersey where he earned a Masters in Performance in 2006. Directly after Graduate school Dan earned a position with the Tacoma Symphony and the Boise Philharmonic Orchestras. Over the last several years, Dan has performed across the Northwest as a bass trombonist in both commercial and classical music. Dan can be heard on a number of motion picture recordings including Rob Zombies “Halloween” (2007), “Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanemo Bay” (2008), and “The Incredible Hulk” (2008). Dan has played as a substitute musician with many great orchestras and performers including, the Seattle Symphony, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Bellevue Philharmonic, Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, the Moody Blues and the legendary Ray Charles. As of Summer 2008 Dan will be a band teacher in the Meridian School District teaching beginning band at Galileo Math and Science Magnet School. |
