About...

About me, I guess.

Born Richland, Washington in 1951. Mother and grandparents all worked at the Hanford nuclear plant. My mom remarried when I was five, to a night club musician. Spent the next eight years or so travelling, never staying anywhere longer than four months and usually staying two weeks. Made for an interesting educational experience. At one time, when I was younger and could still recall the details, I counted twenty-eight schools I'd attended.

My dad (stepdad, but he was the only father I knew) got out of the music business when I was in the seventh grade. We settled in Portland, Oregon, where I attended high school. When I was sixteen, my real father showed up out of the blue and after some discussions I wound up spending my senior year in high school in Boise, Idaho with him, his second wife, and four half brothers (I'd been raised an only child).

I met my future wife there. We fell in love and got married the next year, on the 20th of September, six days after my eighteenth birthday. We've been married ever since, with three grown and married children, and one grandchild.
